Belleville Police say a lockdown at Quinte Secondary School was initiated after reports of shots being fired inside.
They believe the suspect, who’s still at large, also robbed the RBC Bank in Downtown Belleville today.
The lockdown happened right around 2:00 p.m. and then 20 minutes later officers responded to the robbery call.
Investigators are still at both scenes and police have released a description of the suspect.
He’s a white man in his 20s, about six feet tall and slim.
He was wearing a dark long sleeve shirt with a grey vest, dark pants a ball cap and sunglasses.
Police say no injuries were reported in either incident.
