During a visit to Mix 97 to discuss her involvement in the upcoming “Dancing with the Stars Quinte” fundraiser….Ameliasburgh Councillor Lori Slik announced she’ll be running for the Mayor’s job in Prince Edward County this fall. Among the candidates she’ll be facing off with are fellow council members Sandy Latchford, Monica Alyea and former councillor Gordon Fox…who also happens to be Slik’s uncle. Slik says if successful in winning the seat …she’ll put her real estate career on hold to run the affairs of the County.
