A 39-year-old Campbellford man is facing charges following a shoplifting investigation in Trent Hills.
Northumberland OPP were called to a business on Front Street South shortly after noon on Tuesday, following reports that nearly $300 in merchandise had been stolen.
Following an investigation, officers identified and arrested Joel Haney of Campbellford on Wednesday.
Haney has been charged with theft under $5000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held in custody pending a court appearance in Cobourg.
