There is an increased police presence in the area of Lower Slash Road this morning (Wednesday).
Tyendinaga Police, assisted by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) specialized units, are currently conducting a search warrant operation on Lower Slash Road.
Tyendinaga Police believe two outstanding non-community members are actively evading police in the area of Lower Slash Road and Wyman Road.
Community members are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
Residents are asked to follow the direction of police and avoid approaching or interfering with the ongoing operation.
