Failure to use a sidewalk has resulted in charges against an 18-year-old woman.
On Thursday evening just after 6 p.m., Belleville police responded to the city’s north end following reports of a female walking in the roadway.
Officers located the female and spoke with her, however, during the investigation they learned that since June, police had responded to 26 similar incidents involving the same individual reported to be walking on the roadway.
The Belleville resident was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance and mischief.
She was released on an undertaking with a court date in December.
