The City of Belleville’s Community Services department is excited to introduce the new Belleville Lifesaving Club, an aquatic program that combines swimming, fitness, teamwork, leadership development, and fun through the sport of lifesaving.
Built on the values of Lifesaving Sport, the Club promotes True Sport Principles of Go For It, Play Fair, Respect Others, Keep It Fun, Stay Healthy, and Give Back. Participants will build aquatic skills and confidence while taking part in engaging activities, challenges and team-based training.
The Belleville Lifesaving Club is an excellent next step for swimmers who have completed, or are in the process of completing, the Swim Patrol (Swimmer 7, 8, 9), or Bronze (Bronze Star, Medallion, and Cross) programs.
Club sessions are available:
- Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
- Thursdays at 7 p.m.
The Lifesaving Club is also eligible for the Recreation Fee Assistance Program.
