Frankford ward has its first candidate running for Quinte West City Council.
Matt Joice officially filed his nomination papers to run in the upcoming municipal election on Tuesday.
Joice is the lone candidate running for Ward 4, Frankford.
Candidates must file their nomination papers with the city clerk before the close of nominations on Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m
