Canada Post says that parcel and mail service has resumed in the Quinte region.
Belleville, Trenton and Cobourg were under a red alert by the postal service on Thursday, meaning that Canada Post was suspending delivery for the day and not sending delivery agents out or recalling them.
This was due to the wildfires in Northern Ontario as well as the air quality warning that was in effect from Environment Canada.
