The Royal Canadian Air Force says it is conducting a flyby with a CC130J Hercules aircraft from 8 Wing Trenton on Friday.
The flyby would be over the National War Memorial at 11:11 A.M.
This would be for the Royal Canadian Legion’s 100th anniversary.
In a release, 8 Wing Trenton says that the CC-130J Hercules is a four-engine, fixed-wing turboprop aircraft that is used for a wide range of missions, including personnel transport, search-and-rescue, tactical airlift and aircrew training.
They say that flybys by RCAF aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety and are dependent upon weather and flying conditions.
