Internet services were back online for Cogeco customers in the Quinte region as of 5:00 p.m. Monday after several outages affecting Ontario.
Just before 2:00 p.m., customers reported their internet was unavailable on the Cogeco service, effecting thousands in the area.
Customers from Toronto to Kingston were affected
No cause for the outage has been officially given at this time, however, Cogeco noted on its social media that it was dealing with a secondary fibre cut in Oakville.
