The future of a plot of green space in Belleville will be up for discussion at Monday’s council meeting.
The land, located along South John Street, and across Harbour Drive from Jane Forester Park, currently consists of an open grass area.
The green space was previously declared surplus to the city’s needs, and a by-law to transfer the property to the owners of a neighbouring home is now up for consideration.
The by-law does not seek compensation for the land, assigning it a value of $0.
