Work is set to begin on the 2nd Dug Hill Road reconstruction project, which means diversions for traffic.
Beginning on Monday, 2nd Dug Hill Road from Highway 2 south to Appledene Drive will be closed to through traffic. Access will be maintained for school buses and emergency vehicles but all other through traffic will be detoured.
For northbound traffic, the detour runs east onto Appledene Drive, east onto Parkview Heights and north onto Tripp Boulevard.
For southbound traffic, the detour will be east on Highway 2, south onto Tripp Boulevard, west onto Parkview Heights and north onto Appledene Drive.
This closure will allow work to begin on the new multi-use pathway, sidewalk and road reconstruction.
The south portion of 2nd Dug Hill Road remains closed to through traffic while work continues on the Trenton trunk sewer project.
