The Bay of Quinte Rowing Club is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone on the water.
The club is marking its 40th anniversary. It started as a small group of passionate local rowers and has grown into a premier destination for both competitive and recreational athletes.
To launch celebrations, the club is inviting the public to an Open House and Learn-to-Row Info Day.
It is happening Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at their facility at 35 Keegan Parkway in Belleville.
Board member Joey Coward says the club is already looking toward the next forty years, with plans for new equipment and expanded youth programs.
