A respiratory outbreak at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home has now been declared over.
In a release, Prince Edward County says that the respiratory outbreak began on February 27 and has been declared over on April 1.
The home will return to normal operations.
Mask wearing, while voluntary, is strongly encouraged by the home to ensure the health and safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
