The Belleville Senators shut out the Manitoba Moose 5 to 0 on Friday.
Tomas Hamara, Arthur Kaliyev, and Philippe Daoust scored for the Senators, with Kaliyev earning a hat trick.
The Sens opened scoring late in the first period with three unanswered goals. After a scoreless second, the Senators came back in the third to extend their lead with two more goals, taking the win.
The Senators will hit the ice again on Saturday, hosting the Moose for a second time at CAA Arena. The puck drops at 7pm.
