It was another personal best for figure skater Trennt Michaud.
The Quinte West native, along with partner Lia Pereira, finished the Short Program in third at the World Figure Skating Championships in Czechia Wednesday.
They scored a 75.52, breaking the record they set for themselves at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, just a few weeks ago.
They will skate in the final group Thursday evening, with a chance to hit the podium in the free skate.
