On March 25, 2026, Belleville police responded to multiple calls for service regarding a female causing disturbances at various locations throughout the city.
At 4:03 p.m., Belleville police responded to a call regarding the same female causing disturbances at two businesses on Dundas St E. It was reported that she entered the first business and was acting erratically, yelling, and throwing merchandise. She then entered a neighbouring business and continued the disruptive behaviour. As a result of investigation, police located, arrested and charged a 28-year-old Belleville woman with:
· Causing a disturbance x2
· Fail to comply with release order
· Fail to comply with probation order
She was held for a bail hearing.
Intimate Partner Violence
On March 25, 2026, Belleville police spoke with a male regarding a domestic incident. It was reported that on March 20, the male and a female were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the female punched the male in the head and stabbed him with scissors. It was further reported that on March 25, the male returned to his residence and observed that various personal items had been destroyed. As a result of police investigation, a 50-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:
· Assault – spousal
· Assault with a weapon – spousal
· Mischief under $5000 x2
She was held for a bail hearing.
