A Belleville man has been arrested after an investigation into intimate partner violence in the city’s west end.
On Tuesday around 6:50 p.m., Belleville police responded to a home where upon arrival officers spoke with individuals who reported that a verbal altercation had escalated between a male and a female into a physical confrontation.
As a result of investigation, a 28-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault – spousal.
He was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in April.
