The numbers are in for construction in Quinte West and building is slowing down compared to last year.
Eighteen permits were approved for the month, with only two being for new residential units. The value of the permits was $2,470,000. In February of 2025, 33 permits were approved with a value of $3,745,000.
So far this year, 51 permits have been issued with a value of $5,879,000. At this time in 2025, 81 permits had been issued with a value of $9,837,000.
