Tyendinaga Police Service has charged a person in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
Police launched the investigation on February 11 after they received reports that a child had been assaulted by an employee of a before-and-after-school program.
Following an investigation, a person was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, sexual assault, sexual interference, and sexual exploitation.
The police have not released the name of the accused, to protect the identity of the victim.
