2025 was a fantastic year for construction in Brighton.
On Thursday, the municipality’s Economic Development Advisory Committee heard 55 new dwellings were constructed last year with a total of 151 building permits issued.
In all it was a record-breaking construction year for Brighton with the OMNI Long-Term Care Home valued at $148 million.
Presqu’ile Place is expected to generate $138.1 million in local GDP and $96.4 million in labour income over the course of construction.
