A Madoc man is facing charges following an incident in Belleville’s west end.
It was reported that a male had attended a female’s residence, banged on the windows, and smashed a window attempting to gain entry.
The male also allegedly used her credit card to make multiple unauthorized transactions and threatened her.
As a result of police investigation, officers located and arrested the 47-year-old man.
During the arrest he attempted to flee from police but was apprehended a short distance away.
The unidentified man was held for a bail hearing on charges of:
