UPDATE: County Road 64 has reopened to traffic.
Quinte West firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire on County Road 64.
Fire Chief John Whelan says crews were called to 1255 County Road 64 between Barcovan Beach and Carter Roads around 9:30 Friday morning.
He says the fire was under control by 11 a.m.
All occupants are out of the home, however, two dogs were unaccounted for.
Whelan says 23 firefighters along with EMS and OPP were on the scene.
County Road 64 is closed in both directions in the area of the fire.
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
No word yet on the cause of the fire or a damage estimate.
