The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is reporting the death of an inmate at Bath Institution.
Cecil Gillis died while in custody on Wednesday.
At the time of death, the inmate was 77 years old and had been serving an indeterminate sentence since June 2, 1989.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the CSC will review the circumstances.
CSC policy requires that the coroner be notified.
