Community partners across the Bay of Quinte are developing Quinte Compass. This new online tool will connect equity-deserving residents in the region with the services and supports they need, and they are calling on the community to help inform its development. Like a compass, the dashboard will guide users to relevant resources and strengthen connections across the region.
This project is a collaborative initiative between Loyalist College’s Centre for Healthy Communities, Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, Quinte Immigration Services, Belonging Re-Defined, and the City of Belleville’s Economic Development department.
Throughout March and April 2026, the partners are inviting residents and community organizations to complete a short survey to help shape Quinte Compass. The tool is designed to better support equity-deserving residents across the Bay of Quinte, including individuals and communities who experience systemic barriers to opportunity and fair treatment, such as racialized groups, visible minorities, persons with disabilities and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Feedback will directly inform how resources are organized across public and private services in both urban and rural communities. Survey responses will also help ensure the information is accurate, inclusive and easy to navigate, reflecting the realities of the region today and into the future.

The tentative launch date for the tool is late 2026.
