The race for the OJHL’s Buckland Cup begins on Friday for both the Wellington Dukes and the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Wellington finished their season in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, clinching the playoffs for a 37th consecutive year.
Meantime, the defending Buckland Cup champion Trenton Golden Hawks were able to finish their season in first place in the Eastern Conference.
Wellington will take on the Pickering Panthers in their first round matchup.
