A 24-year-old man has been arrested after an assault in downtown Belleville.
Belleville police responded to an assault on February 17.
It was reported a male had physically assaulted another individual and fled the scene.
Upon investigation, officers were able to identify a suspect.
On Wednesday at 5:59 p.m., Belleville police located, arrested, and charged a 24-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address with:
- Assault
- Uttering threats
- Failure to comply with a probation order
- Outstanding warrant executed
The man was not identified by police.
He was held for a bail hearing.
