A planning application to do some restoration and renovations on the Old Wooler Schoolhouse has been approved.
Quinte West council reviewed the application during Thursday’s council meeting.
The application sought permission to do exterior restoration work, along with constructing a two story addition at the rear of the building.
The schoolhouse was built in 1915, and was designated a heritage site in 2024.
Council approved the application after brief debate.
