Belleville firefighters have a garage fire under control in the city’s east end.
Crews were called out at 1:21 p.m. Sunday afternoon to the 500 block of Victoria Avenue.
The occupants escaped safely and there have been no reports of injury.
Fire damage was limited to the attached garage but there was some smoke damage inside of the house.
Victoria Avenue in the area of the fire has been blocked to traffic.
This is the seventh structure fire in Belleville since the year began.
