OPP are releasing new details after a person died following a fatal crash in Loyalist Township Thursday afternoon.
In a release, Lennox and Addington OPP say they, fire, and paramedics responded to a collision between a snowmobile and a truck at around 3:15 p.m.
It happened at Newburgh Road and County Road 4 in the Camden East area.
The rider of the snowmobile, identified as a 61-year-old woman from Kingston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the truck were not hurt.
The roadway was closed until close to 11 p.m..
The investigation by Lennox and Addington County OPP, with the assistance of a Technical Collision Investigation officer and Collision Reconstructionist from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team, is continuing.
