We are heading into a deep freeze.
Our meteorologist Kevin Williams says we can expect low temperatures overnight tonight to range from around minus 20 in the south of Prince Edward County to minus 26 near Belleville and minus 28 north of Hwy 401.
As measured at CFB Trenton, the record low for today’s date January 23 is minus 31.1 degrees set 50 years ago in 1976 and the record low for tomorrow’s date January 24 is minus 28.9 set way back in 1948.
