Ontario Provincial Police say three people face charges following a drug seizure in Belleville.
The OPP’s East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with help from the Belleville Police Service, began an investigation in late 2025 into drug trafficking in the Deseronto, Shannonville and Belleville area.
Officers with CSCU, assisted by the Belleville Police Tactical Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Moira Street East on Tuesday.
Three people were arrested at the scene.
Police seized approximately 11.5 grams of suspected cocaine, as well nearly $700 in cash and items typically associated with drug trafficking.
Forty-one-year-old Christopher Hill, 36-year-old Tyler Hill and 38-year-old Vanessa Meesters, all from Belleville, have each been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Christopher Hill has also been charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000.
All of the accused individuals were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 16, 2026.
