A teenager is facing charges in connection with two incidents of intimate partner violence.
On Wednesday, Belleville police learned of a domestic dispute that occurred the previous Saturday.
A verbal altercation between a male and female escalated, resulting in the male punching the female, pulling her hair, and preventing her from leaving the room.
It was also reported that a second incident took place on Monday, when the male assaulted the female by pulling her hair.
Investigation led to the arrest of a 16-year-old Belleville male on two charges of assault and one charge of forcible confinement.
He was held for a bail hearing.
