A 100 Men Who Care Quinte donation to Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings (Habitat PEH) will have double the impact.
Habitat for Humanity was chosen as the recipient of 100 Men Who Care’s November donation of $10,000.
The donation was made through Habitat Canada’s Giving Tuesday initiative, allowing the gift to be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Habitat CEO Hazzem Koudsi says it brings the organization another step closer to its fundraising target for the No Place Like Home Campaign supporting Habitat Village a 66-unit condo-style affordable housing complex being built at the site of the former police station on Dundas Street in Belleville.
Habitat PEH’s No Place Like Home Campaign continues to raise money for the development.
Until December 31, thanks to a generous match from Peter Knudsen, all donations will be matched up to $25,000.
