The Lennox and Addington County OPP have charged a Deseronto man after a historical sexual offence allegation.
OPP were notified of the allegation back in February 2025 that spanned from 2012 to 2025.
Following an investigation involving the L&A Crime Unit and in consultation with the Attorney General, a male in his 30’s from Deseronto, was charged on December 5.
The man was charged with Corrupting Children and Invitation to sexual touching – under 16 years of age.
The accused, who can not be identified to protect the victim, was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.
