Bancroft OPP has charged one person following a disturbance.
On Sunday, just before 3:00 p.m. police attended an address on Valleyview Drive in the Town of Bancroft.
As a result of the investigation one person was arrested and transported to the Bancroft OPP detachment.
Joseph Easton-Vautour, 34, of Bancroft has been charged with the following:
- Assault – 2 counts
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Forcible confinement
- Mischief under $5,000
- Theft under $5,000
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody.
They are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Wednesday.
