One male has been arrested after a stabbing in Oshawa early Friday.
Durham Regional Police responded to a stabbing at a residence in the area of Olive Avenue and Albert Street around 1:10 a.m.
Officers arrived on scene and located one victim suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested on scene without incident.
Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.
Patrick Lummiss, age 21 from Oshawa is charged with assault cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon x2, possess weapon dangerous to public peace, fail to comply with a release order, fail to comply with probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
