Belleville council could decide on new fines for various parking infractions at its meeting Monday.
Most parking fines in Belleville are now below average levels in comparable municipalities.
Staff is recommending council approve increasing some fines as outlined in a recent Comprehensive
ParkinGg Study done by outside consultants.
Most fines are unchanged but some will increase and its expected if the recommendations are accepted
fines could generate an extra $111,000 in revenue for the city.
Before any changes can take place they must first be approved by the Ministry of the Attorney General.
