Sunday’s snowfall kept local emergency first responders busy.
Vehicles were sliding off of highways and roads throughout the Quinte region.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says his department dealt with at least 6 collisions.
In one of them, at around 5:30 p.m., a woman had to be extricated from her car which had slid off of Foxboro-Stirling Road and rolled over.
There were no serious injuries.
