While short-lived, the Automated Speed Enforcement program was a good revenue-generator for the Municipality of Brighton.
At a meeting on Monday, council will see a report that shows net revenue from its one speed camera totalling almost $1.5 million.
Staff is recommending that about half of that total be used to lower budget increases in the next four years.
Almost $600,000 is recommended for a capital reserve account for projects, including streetscape design, street lighting and sidewalks.
