The results are in for the 2025 council election on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Incumbent Chief R. Don Maracle has won in a landslide victory, with 1008 of 1104 ballots cast, holding on to his position as chief.
The six candidates for council who gathered the most votes are Chris Brant, Kristen “Sara” Loft, Kurtis Brant, Lynda Leween, Erin Ferrante, and Chase Brant.
The vote was held on Saturday, with the polls closing at 8 p.m. in the evening.
