Winter is hitting hard and early this year and we have a new record low temperature to prove it.
Fridayat one o’clock, as measured at CFB Trenton, the temperature was minus 18.2 degrees celsius, that’s just below zero fahrenheit.
That bone-chilling cold was just enough to surpass the previous low temperature record for a December 05 of minus 17.9 degrees set in 2007.
