Planned construction activity in Prince Edward County last month was way lower than it was in November of last year but it was just one big project that made the difference.
Last month, 43 building permits were issued with a construction value of just over $9.2 million while in November of 2024, 52 permits were issued with a whopping value of $95.8 million.
However, one permit last year was valued at $85 million for the redevelopment of the H.J. MacFarland Memorial Home in Picton.
Last month, permits for 10 new homes, including a secondary suite, were issued in the county.
