Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward–Hastings (Habitat PEH) announces a $5,000 donation from Peak Construction. Their support comes at a crucial time for the Lester Road project in Trenton, where two semis are currently under construction and will become home to four local families in 2026.
Peak Construction’s generosity directly contributes to making affordable homeownership a reality for families who have long dreamed of a safe and stable place to call home. By reducing out-of-pocket building costs, this donation not only supports the families moving into Lester Road, but also strengthens Habitat’s ability to serve future families across the region.
With project completion expected in the spring, applications are being accepted.
Please visit habitatpeh.org or email Meg (megl@habitatpeh.org) for more information. If you or someone you know has been dreaming of owning a home but struggling to save for a down payment, now is the perfect time to apply and take the first step toward an affordable future.
Affordable homeownership changes lives: across Canada 80% of Habitat homeowners say they would not have been able to purchase a home without Habitat’s support. And Habitat PEH’s impact is only possible because of community partners like Peak Construction, as well as the donors, volunteers, and supporters who stand behind the mission every day.
Giving Tuesday is tomorrow, and you are invited to help support local families. Every donation, big or small, helps build strength and stability through affordable homeownership.
