Quinte West OPP have laid impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in Quinte West.
Police conducted a traffic stop at around 11 p.m. on Thursday.
The driver was arrested and taken to detachment for further testing.
Twenty-six-year-old Adesh Grewal of Stoney Creek was charged with the following:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – Blood alcohol concentrations (80plus)
- Speeding 1 – 49 km/h over posted limit
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on December 18, 2025.
