Prince Edward County OPP have charged one person in relation to an incident of intimate partner violence.
Just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, OPP responded to reports of an argument that escalated inside a residence located in Picton.
As a result of an investigation, one person has been charged with the following:
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Assault cause bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle – three counts
- Assault spousal – four counts
The name of the suspect has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
