Northumberland OPP are asking for the public’s help with a distraction theft investigation in Brighton.
On November 15, police received a report of a stolen wallet and unauthorized transactions totalling $3,800 using bank cards.
The complainant advised they had their wallet while visiting a commercial property on Elizabeth Street in Brighton earlier that afternoon.
Investigators believe the theft occurred in the parking lot through a distraction technique.
Police have released images of four individuals believed to be connected to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
