A disturbance in Napanee has led to one male being arrested and facing extensive criminal charges.
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, shortly before 6 p.m., Lennox and Addington County OPP were notified by L&A County Emergency Medical Services of an injured person in a residence in Napanee.
Police attended the scene and one person was transported to a local trauma-centre hospital with serious injuries.
Following an extensive police investigation, Joshua Bulger, a 49-year-old, from Napanee was charged with:
- Attempt to commit murder
- Forcible confinement
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault cause bodily harm – choke, suffocate, strangle
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
The accused is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee at a later date.
