Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement saying it expects strong winds on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the weather agency says that southwest winds can be gusting from 80 to 90 km/h.
The strong wind gusts are expected to begin late Wednesday afternoon and continue into Thursday afternoon.
Local utility outages are possible.
High-sided vehicles will be pushed around and loose objects may be tossed by the wind.
