The Bay of Quinte Federal Liberal Association has announced it will be hosting “Table Talk.”
The event is a community panel discussion featuring Liberal MPs Chris Malette of Bay of Quinte, Mark Gerretsen of Kingston and the Islands and Emma Harrison of Peterborough.
According to a release, the panel will explore food security and other key pocketbook concerns, highlighting what the liberal government has accomplished and plans to do to support Canadians.
In the second half of the event, attendees will be invited to submit written questions for the panel to address.
The aim is to encourage constructive conversation and strengthen community engagement and sustainable partnerships.
The event takes place at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 29 in the Multi-Purpose Meeting Room on the second floor.
Admission is a $10 donation at the door (cash only), with all proceeds supporting local food banks, including Gleaners (Belleville), Care and Share (Trenton), and the United Church Food Bank (Picton).
